Optimum Nutrition Challenges the England Rugby 7s
Back in 2019, Optimum Nutrition, who are the ‘Official Performance Partner’ to England Rugby - challenged both the Men and Women England Rugby 7’s teams to drop the rugby ball and pick up a new sport.

Taking a Swing
The Women's England Rugby 7's team ventured onto the baseball diamond, swapping roles with Team GB baseball player Jordan Edmonds in order to complete the 3 challenges presented to them on the day.
Again, camera angles and positions were pre-determined, however on top of this, adapting to the fast-paced nature of baseball demanded split-second decisions to follow the action accurately while continuing to avoid entering the shots.
In the end, the England Women’s team completed all 3 challenges - meaning they had won Optimum Nutritions challenge.
Olympic Challenge
In the first of the two challenges, the Men's England Rugby 7's team traded their rugby boots for hockey sticks in a sport swap with Olympic gold medalist Giselle Ansley of Team GB hockey.
Due to the “one take” nature of this shoot, camera angles and positions were strategically placed to capture multiple angles and perspectives, all while maintaining the continuity and keeping out of shots.
After finishing their attempt at the hockey challenge - the Men’s team challenged the Women’s team to see if they could beat them, setting up a part 2 down the line.
